To remove, gently warm the adhesive strip with a hairdryer for 30 seconds, then pull slowly downward at a 45-degree angle. No residue, no marks, no damage. This is the same adhesive technology used by professional installers — it's the opposite of cheap suction cups or sticky pads that either fall off or rip your tile coating with them.
What Types Of Walls Does It Work On?
ShowerSMART installs cleanly on most modern shower surfaces — ceramic tile, porcelain tile, glass, fiberglass, acrylic, and most smooth stone. It won't stick well to highly textured stone (rough travertine, slate, river rock) or unsealed natural stone, because adhesive needs a smooth surface to bond. One important install tip: position the adhesive pads on a tile face, not across a grout line.
