INSP!RED Products was founded on a passion for invention. Originally launched by a father-daughter team, the company grew from a shared love of turning smart ideas into useful, stylish products. Ron, a retired IBM engineer, built an impressive career with more than 150 patents. His daughter Shari brought a designer’s eye and an understanding of what consumers want.
Today, Shari proudly leads INSP!RED Products as its owner and creative force. She continues to invent and develop new products that combine functionality with great design—creating solutions that make everyday life a little easier and a little more inspired.

About the Brand
How The INSP!RATION Started...
1980s
Since Shari can remember, her father, Ron, has always been inventing something. When Shari was 6 years old, her father started woodworking as a hobby and her mom, Phyllis, would paint his pieces. They sold his woodcrafts from a kiosk in the mall.
Hunt's Woodcrafts was a huge hit, and its success inspired Ron to create and invent more and more.
1990s
In the late 1990s, after decades of working at IBM in Austin, Ron was offered an early retirement and he took it. He started Discgear, a line of CD storage systems, with his best friend. Shari started working with them in 1999 under the CD3, Inc. company name.
2000s
Then came his next invention, Perfect Petzzz. Perfect Petzzz are a line of lifelike puppies and kittens that breathe.
2010s
In 2012, Ron formed a partnership with Ronco, focusing on kitchen appliances.
2017+
Ron and Shari both left Ronco in 2016 and became business partners a year later. In 2017, they launched INSP!RED Products and have developed the Cabinet Caddy, Cabinet Caddy SNAP!, and Go Hang It!. They also have several new products in the works.
