With Easter on the horizon, it’s time to start thinking about the perfect spread for family and friends. Yes, I’m talking about the delicious showcase of spring inspired food displayed on the table for all to enjoy.

Where was I? Oh, that’s right! Besides all that goodness, one important dish no one should skimp out on is the infamous deviled egg. I’m talking about the clouds parting, allowing the sun to shine through and beam a ray of light that shines so brightly on this heavenly egg, making the deviled part seem quite a contradiction. A little much? Not at all! Because that is the kind of introduction the deviled egg deserves. It is so deliciously simple, yet so complex with its seasonings and spices. There are so many variations depending on your craving.

These measurements are based on 6 hard-boiled eggs, peeled and cut lengthwise.
Deviled Egg Recipe:
Scoop the yolks out into a bowl and mash.
Add in:
- 2 Tbsp. mayonnaise
- 1 ½ Tbsp. relish (sweet or dill)
- 1 tsp. yellow mustard
- ¼ tsp. sea salt
- ¼ tsp. black pepper
Mix and fold, then put the filling back in with a piping bag for a quick fancier look. Don’t forget the paprika on top!
